Ganderbal,06 March: One person was killed while as another one was rescued alive after they came under a snow avalanche in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal District on Friday.
Official Sources said that a snow avalanche struck Rayiel area near the newly constructed mini power project in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal on Friday afternoon.
Soon after the incident the locals as well as rescue teams swungs into the action , during the rescue operation one person was rescued alive in injured Condition while as another's dead body was recovered.
Meanwhile, the injured was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital for advanced treatment.
An Official Confirmed the incident and said that One person died on spot and another one is going treatment at hospital. He identified the deceased outsider as Surandh Singh S/O Kartar Singh While as the injured one as Bobhi Singh S/O Angrez Singh both the residents of Pathankot Punjab. Both were labourers from outside state, he added.
