ARMY ORGANISES MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING CAMP IN BANDIPORA
FELICITATES WINNERS OF STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Bandipora:- Army on Friday organised martial arts training programme for students in Bandipora.
An official spokesperson said the Games and sportsplay an important role in inculcating a spirit of competition and fostering values like Esprit de Corps, camaraderie and teamwork amongst youth. "For further strengthening the bond and to generate goodwill amongst the locals 13 RR (AJAS COB) has been trainning youth of Ajas in Martial Arts through Ali Sports Academy" .
A total of 21 children participated in a three day Martial Arts trainning camp org at Ali's Sports Academy at AJAS by the COB, which culminated with Distribution of Martial Arts (Wushu/Kickboxing) Kits Felicitation of Winners of State Championship(Six indls
The winners were Awarded with Medals and Prizes to boost their morale and to further motivate them into this sport.
The event successfully achieved it's desired aim of increasing bonhomie between the forces and the youth while channelizing their energies in a constructive manner. The winners will definitely motivate more children's to participate and learn other sports activities.
Spokesperson said such intiatives by the Indian Army on a daily basis to connect with various sections of the society has helped in making the *Army- Awaam connect* better. He said the youth thanked the Army Camp for helping them to participate in such a event which provided them with a platform to show their talent.
