Bandipora, 24 June:A teenage boy drowned while taking a bath in a Madhumatti Nallah in Kaloosa area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on monday evening.

The youth have been identified as Danish Ahmad wani S/o Manzoor Ahmed Wani R/o Ajar Bandipora. Soon after the incident Police and Army rushed to the spot to retrieve the body. However the huge flow of water  hampered the rescue operations. Special divers of Army (Marcos) have also been called in to fish out the body. Operation was still on when this  report was being filled.
