Bandipora, June 22 : A 25-year-old women (name withheld) on Friday evening committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance at her home in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports said that the women was a resident of Bihar and was married at Quil Muqam village of Bandipora. She was immediately rushed to District hospital Bandipora.
However, doctors at Bandipora hospital declared her brought dead. "The reason for the suicide was not immediately known," an official told.
Officials said that police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations have been initiated in this regard.
