Sumbal, 17 June : A 20-year-old boy from inderkote village of Sumbal Area in north Kashmir's Bandipora district got electrocuted on Monday evening Evening .
Officials said the boy named Jan Mohd Malik S/o Gh Ahmad Malik was carrying some repair to the electric lines at home when he suddenly got electric shock which lead to his serious injuries. He was rushed to the nearby Community Health Center Sumbal were he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the incident sent shock waves in the area as it was second tragic incident in a day. Earlier a teenage girl was killed in a cloudburst in the same area. A large number of people gathered in the ancestral home of the deceased boy and joined his funeral.
