Bandipora, 01 June: International Delhi Public School Bandipora on Saturday organised a Seerat Conference which was attended by students from different schools.
The conference was attended by Islamic scholars, parents and their wards. The speakers threw light on teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and reiterated that the teachings are a guide for the whole humanity towards righteousness and universal brotherhood. The speakers on the occasion said the parents should guide their kids towards religion.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora Reyaz Ahmad Beigh, District Social Welfare officer Bandipora Altaf Hussain and Chairman IDPS were the chief guests of this programme who felicitated and distributed prizes among wining students in different activities.
At least 200 students including boys & girls participated. The Chairman distributed prizes among the position holder of all the categories in the competition.
Chairman IDPS Bandipora, Fayaz Ahmad said such fruitful events will be organised in future as well. Mufti Farhat, Mufti Bilal, Mufti Hadi were also present on the occasion.
