Bandipora, February 21: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) on Thursday organised National Lok Adalat in District Court Complex Bandipora under the chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Syed Sarfaraz Hussain Shah.
An official spokesperson said that 84 cases were taken up in the National Lok Adalat out of which 32 cases were settled amicably and a settlement amount of Rs 26750 were awarded in various cases.
He said the cases taken up in the Adalat were related to MACT, Bank matters, civil and Matrimonial cases.
The first bench was presided over by Principal District and Session Judge Bandipora Syed Sarfaraz Hussain Shah while the second bench was presided over by Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora Raja Mohammad Tasleem, The third bench was presided over by Munsiff Iqbal Ahmad Akhooon while the fourth bench was presided over by Munsiff Manzoor Hussain Chowdhary .
