Shutdown, Protest in Sumbal against arrest of youth by Delhi Police

Sumbal, Jan 28: Protests erupt in north Kashmir’s Sumbal village of Bandipora on Monday against the arrest of a local youth by Dehli police.
Reports said scores of people including trade body hit the streets demanding release of the local youth Hilal Ahmad. The protestors appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik to intervene into the matter.
Hilal was arrested on January 23 by a joint team of special cell of Dehli police, Sumbal police and a unit of army from his home and shifted him to Delhi. Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in Sumbal Bandipora against the arrest of local youth by Delhi police.
