Srinagar, October 19: The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Srinagar, will hold a Passport Lok Adalat on October 21 and 22 to expedite the disposal of pending passport application cases from 2024 and 2025.
The Lok Adalat will be held at the RPO office from 11 am to 4 pm on both days. Regional Passport Officer B.S. Rawat will hear applicantsโ grievances and take up their cases for disposal.
According to the RPO, 100 applications will be taken up each day due to the limited time available.
Applicants have been advised to bring all relevant documents in original, along with one set of photocopies, to facilitate the processing and disposal of their cases.
The initiative aims to expedite pending cases, strengthen grievance redressal and improve the delivery of passport services. (PIB)
