BJP Leaders Celebrate PM Modi’s Birthday in Pampore, Awantipora

Pampore, September 17: BJP leaders and workers, led by Rajya Sabha Member Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, organised candle-lighting programmes at Ring Road near Pampore and AIIMS Awantipora on Thursday to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.

The programmes were attended by BJP State Secretary Arif Raja, Additional Social Media Incharge J&K and Prabhari Pulwama Sajad Ahmad Raina, Farmer District President Pulwama Mohammad Lateef Bhat, Mohammad Asif Ganaie, Babita Bhat, Avrar Singh, Ruhani and other party leaders and workers.

The participants extended birthday greetings to the Prime Minister and offered prayers for his long life and good health. They also raised slogans and highlighted what they described as his public service and leadership.

Speaking to Kashmir Convener, Khatana said the celebrations also marked what he described as 25 years of Prime Minister Modi’s public governance. He highlighted the government’s focus on economic development, youth empowerment and various sectors of the economy.

Khatana referred to initiatives including Startup India and Stand-Up India, saying they had provided opportunities for young people to contribute to the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’.

He also highlighted the government’s focus on women, farmers, workers, technology, corporate sectors, clean energy and environmental sustainability.

Khatana further referred to India’s growing global economic and strategic presence and said several international recognitions had been conferred on Prime Minister Modi.

The celebrations concluded with lamps being lit along Kashmir’s Ring Road and at AIIMS Awantipora, with BJP leaders, workers and supporters participating in the programmes.
