Army Red Lift 74th Inter Services Basketball Championship Title

New Delhi, Sept 10: Indian Army Red were crowned champions of the 74th Inter Services Basketball Championship 2026–27 after a commanding 81–50 victory over Indian Air Force in the final at Mercury Stadium, Army Basketball Node, 1 Army Headquarters Signals Regiment, here.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, Army Red controlled the title clash from start to finish, blending skill, discipline and composure to overpower the Air Force and seal the trophy.

The championship brought together the best basketball talent from the three Services, with the tournament marked by fierce competition, determination and exemplary sporting spirit.

Lt Gen Vivek Dogra, SM, Signal Officer-in-Chief and Colonel Commandant, was the Chief Guest at the final and praised the teams for their spirited performances, sporting excellence and commitment.

The event also reflected the spirit of jointmanship, camaraderie, discipline and service before self, with players demonstrating professionalism on and off the court.

The successful conclusion of the 74th edition added another memorable chapter to Services basketball, celebrating sporting excellence and strengthening bonds among the Armed Forces.
