Srinagar, June 22:- The Haj Committee of India, under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, has invited online applications from eligible intending pilgrims for Haj-2027 (1448 Hijri).
According to an official announcement issued on Sunday, aspirants can submit their applications through the Haj Application Form available on the official website and the HAJ SUVIDHA mobile application.
The application window will remain open from June 22, 2026, to July 20, 2026 (11:59 PM). The digital random selection process (Qurrah) is scheduled to be conducted in the last week of July. Pilgrims selected provisionally will have to deposit an advance amount of ₹1,52,300 on or before August 10, 2026.
Applicants have been advised to carefully read the guidelines and upload scanned copies of the required documents, including:
Front and back pages of a machine-readable Indian passport valid at least till December 31, 2027.
Passport-size photograph with white background.
Bank passbook or cancelled cheque.
Address proof.
The Haj Committee also cautioned applicants against cancelling their Haj seats, stating that cancellations create operational difficulties and may attract substantial penalties as per Haj-2027 guidelines. Pilgrims have been advised to apply only after ensuring their preparedness and firm commitment to undertake the pilgrimage.(CNS)
