JKGLTF Welcomes Newly Appointed CEO Bandipora

Bandipora, June 20: A delegation of the Jammu & Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum (JKGLTF), Bandipora, on Saturday met the newly appointed Chief Education Officer (CEO), Bandipora, Rafiq Ahmad Mir, and extended a warm welcome on his assuming charge as the head of the district’s education department.

During the meeting, the delegation held a detailed discussion with the CEO regarding the overall educational scenario in Bandipora and highlighted various issues concerning the teaching fraternity. The members expressed optimism that the education sector in the district would witness further growth and improvement under his leadership.

The delegation also raised several concerns related to teachers and educational institutions, seeking appropriate intervention for their resolution.

Rafiq Ahmad Mir patiently listened to the issues projected by the delegation and assured them that all genuine matters falling within his jurisdiction would be addressed in a time-bound and transparent manner. He reiterated his commitment to strengthening the education system and ensuring a conducive academic environment across the district.

The JKGLTF delegation comprised Ghulam Nabi Chopan, Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, Zahoor Ahmad Lone, Dr. Sheikh Irshad, Javaid Ahmad and Showkat Ahmad.

The forum expressed confidence that constructive engagement between the education department and teaching community would contribute significantly towards improving the quality of education and addressing the concerns of stakeholders in the district.
