JKTF Reshuffles Leadership, Names New Provincial President and Chief Spokesperson

Srinagar, May 26: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum on Tuesday announced several organisational appointments and nominations aimed at strengthening the functioning of the forum across the Union Territory.

According to an order issued by UT General Secretary Mir Bashir Ahmad, the decisions were taken following approval from the Chairman of the forum and consultations with district presidents and other stakeholders.

As per the order, M. Yousuf Dar has been elevated as UT Vice Chairman of the forum.

M. Ashraf Khan has been nominated as Provincial President for Kashmir, while Nissar Anjum has been appointed as UT Chief Spokesperson.

The order further stated that Junaid Ahmad Mir will hold the additional charge of UT Press and Publicity Secretary until further orders.

The forum expressed hope that all office bearers would work with dedication and commitment for strengthening the organisation and safeguarding the interests of the teaching fraternity across Jammu and Kashmir.
