According to police, information regarding the disappearance of the 12-year-old girl, whose identity has been withheld, was received at Police Station Budgam late Friday evening after she reportedly went missing from her residence during the evening hours.

Acting promptly on the complaint, Police Station Budgam registered FIR No. 139/2026 under relevant provisions of law and launched an extensive search operation.
