PAMPORE, MAY 13: In continuation of the ongoing Nasha Mukht Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan, Police Station Khrew in collaboration with the Drug Department conducted extensive checking/ inspection of medical shops in Khrew to ensure strict compliance with prescribed regulations and to prevent misuse of pharmaceutical drugs and intoxicants.
Simultaneously, intensive narco raids and search operations were conducted in the Brawbadina area to curb drug peddling, identify individuals involved in narcotics related activities, and dismantle the local drug network. The drive were carried out with full determination as part of the sustained crackdown against the menace of drugs.
Awantipora Police remains committed towards creating a drug-free society and appeals to the public to cooperate and share information related to drug abuse or trafficking.
