Army Goodwill School Bandipora Celebrates Mother’s Day

Bandipora, May 11: Army Goodwill School Bandipora on Sunday celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm under the banner of the Nasha Mukt J&K Campaign, combining a heartfelt tribute to mothers with a strong message against drug abuse.

The programme was organised to honour mothers for their unconditional love, care and sacrifices, while also highlighting their vital role in shaping children’s character and protecting them from social evils such as substance abuse.

The event began with a warm welcome to the audience, followed by a series of cultural performances, speeches and student activities. Students recited poems, delivered speeches and showcased their talents to express gratitude and affection for their mothers.

Special messages were shared on the importance of mothers as the first teachers and strongest pillars of every family.
On the occasion, the school also spread awareness about the objectives of the Nasha Mukt J&K Campaign and the harmful effects of drug abuse.

Speakers emphasized that mothers play a crucial role in guiding children towards positive values and helping build a stronger and drug-free society.
