Awantipora, May 07: In continuation of the ongoing drive under the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan, Police conducted a narcotics raid at Village Rathsuna, Tral, with the assistance of the K-9 Unit.
During the search , contraband substances were recovered from the residential house of one Mohd. Ramzan Bhat son of Mohd. Ahsan Bhat, resident of Mandal Mohalla, Rathsuna. The recovered contraband includes Charas weighing 45 grams, Charas powder weighing 250 grams, Grinded cannabis weighing 3 kilograms and 800 grams.
Accordingly, FIR No. 55/2026 under relevant provisions of law has been registered in Police Station Tral and investigation into the matter has been taken up.
Police Awantipora remains committed towards eradicating the menace of drugs and urges the public to cooperate in maintaining a drug free society.
