SHOPIAN, April 24: Continuing its sustained efforts to combat drug abuse and promote awareness among young minds, Shopian Police organized awareness programmes under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyaan at Govt. Degree College Shopian.
The programmes witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members and officers/ officials from the Shopian police. The initiative aimed to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage the adoption of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. During the sessions, speakers highlighted the dangers of drug abuse, its impact on society and the legal consequences involved. Students were encouraged to spread awareness and promote a drug-free lifestyle.
Shopian Police reiterated its commitment to continue such awareness drives as part of the ongoing 100 Days Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan, with the objective of building a safer and healthier society.
