Shopian Police Continues Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign under Nasha Mukht J&K Abhiyan

SHOPIAN, April 18: Continuing its sustained efforts to combat drug abuse and promote awareness among the youth, Shopian Police, in collaboration with the Civil Administration, organized awareness programmes under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in Government Degree College Shopian and Hamdina High School Wachi.

The programmes witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teaching staff and officials from Police and Civil Administration. The initiative aimed to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

During the sessions, speakers highlighted the growing menace of substance abuse and its far-reaching impact on individuals, families and society. Students were also sensitized about the legal consequences of drug-related activities and were encouraged to act as ambassadors of change by spreading awareness within their communities.

Shopian Police reiterated its commitment to continue such awareness drives as part of the ongoing 100 Days Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, with the objective of building a safer and healthier society.
