ARTO B’Pora Inspect Bus Fleet of Faiz-e-Aam Secondary School, All Vehicles Found Fit

Bandipora, March 14: A team of Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Bandipora lead by ARTO Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi on Saturday inspected the bus fleet of Faiz-e-Aam Public Secondary School to assess vehicle fitness and compliance with transport regulations.

During the inspection, the school buses were examined for road worthiness and verification of mandatory documents. Officials checked registration certificates, fitness certificates, insurance papers and other required documents to ensure adherence to transport norms.

According to officials, all the buses were found fit to operate on their assigned routes.

On the occasion, an awareness session on road safety and safe transportation of school children was also conducted for the drivers. Lateef Ahmad Wani imparted guidance on traffic rules and precautionary measures to be followed while ferrying students.

Drivers were advised to strictly adhere to traffic regulations, maintain speed limits and ensure the safety and security of children during transit. Emphasis was laid on careful driving practices, regular vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety standards.

Officials said such inspections are carried out periodically to ensure the safe transportation of school-going children and to enforce road safety norms in the district.
