CCE-2024 Final Result: 90 Candidates Recommended for Medical Exam

SRrinagar, Mar 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) on Friday announced the final outcome of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024, forwarding a list of 90 candidates for mandatory medical examination to determine their suitability for appointment against the 90 advertised vacancies.

According to an official notification issued by the Commission accessed Kashmir Convener the results were declared following the conclusion of the personality test (interview) stage, which was held at the JKPSC office in Jammu from March 5 to March 13.

A total of 340 candidates who successfully appeared in the personality test have been declared qualified in the examination, with the Commission simultaneously publishing their aggregate marks obtained in the selection process.

Officials stated that the recommendation for medical examination is the final procedural step before appointment. The 90 shortlisted candidates, ranked in order of merit and strictly in adherence to the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules (SRO-294), have been directed to appear before the medical boards at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar or GMC Jammu.

“The dates for the medical examination will be notified separately,” the notification issued by the Commission accessed Kashmir Convener read.

The recruitment process, initiated against a requisition from the General Administration Department (GAD) for 90 posts in July 2024, witnessed a massive response. Out of 31,644 candidates initially allowed for the preliminary examination held on February 23, 2025, a total of 19,659 candidates appeared.

Following the mains examination conducted in Jammu and Srinagar between July 23 and August 1, 2025, a total of 2,492 candidates successfully appeared in all papers. Subsequently, 345 candidates were shortlisted for the final interview stage.

While 340 candidates eventually appeared for the personality test, the Commission noted that four candidates abstained from the process. Additionally, in compliance with directives from the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), six applicants were granted permission to participate in the interview stage.
