JKEDI Concludes 2nd Batch of Capacity Building Programme Under Mission YUVA in Bandipora

Bandipora, Feb 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) on Saturday concluded the second batch of its 10-day Capacity Building Programme under Mission YUVA in Bandipora district.

An official spokesperson of the institute said as many as 14 aspiring entrepreneurs from the service, manufacturing and agri-allied sectors successfully completed the programme, including three women participants.

He said the 60-hour training programme was conducted at the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) and was coordinated by Malik Sameer-ul-Islam from JKEDI District Office Bandipora.

The initiative forms a key component of the entrepreneurial journey under Mission YUVA and is aimed at strengthening business acumen and entrepreneurial competencies of aspirants before they venture into the real business environment.

During the valedictory session, Employment Officer DE&CC Bandipora, Nisar Ahmad Shah, interacted with the trainees, shared insights on entrepreneurship and reviewed their understanding of various training modules.

Malik Sameer-ul-Islam, who served as the resource person, exposed participants to modern business practices through participatory methods, including group activities, role plays, interactive videos and customised presentations.

Officials said the programme concluded with a renewed commitment to promote self-employment and further strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bandipora district.
