Retired Engineer Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai joins JKNPF

Srinagar, Feb 10: Retired Executive Engineer of R&B PMGSY, Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai of Chanapora, Srinagar, on Saturday joined the Jammu and Kashmir Nationalist Peoples Front (JKNPF).

Party leaders said the induction of Ganai is expected to strengthen the party’s organisational base. The JKNPF leadership stated that the party is witnessing a steady increase in participation from professionals and individuals with administrative backgrounds.

Speaking on the occasion, party leaders said the involvement of people with experience in public service is important for promoting transparency and accountability in public life. They said the party encourages the participation of individuals with a clean record and professional credibility.

The party also reiterated that it does not support the inclusion of discredited or tainted former politicians, stating that ethical conduct and public trust remain central to its political approach.

The joining ceremony was held in the presence of JKNPF President Jasif Ahmad Khan, Senior Vice President Basit Bashir Gagroo, Vice President Tanveer Jeelani, and other senior leaders and party workers.

Party leaders welcomed Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai and expressed hope that his experience would contribute positively to the party’s activities and public outreach in Jammu and Kashmir.
