Army rescues Piaggio vehicle after it skids off road in Aloosa

Aloosa, Feb 7: Indian Army on Saturday rescued a vehicle in Aloosa block of Bandipora district after it skidded off the road.

 Officials from Wullar Battalion of Indian Army said a Piaggio Ape Extra vehicle bearing number JK15 B 1767 skidded off the road near Kiatson, Aloosa, around 5:30 pm on Saturday due to slippery road conditions.

 He said Troops from the Indian Army stationed at Kiatson Camp immediately rushed to the site and, in coordination with local villagers, rescued the driver and pulled the vehicle back onto the road. The operation was completed by 6 pm.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Officials said the swift response underscored the Army’s ongoing commitment to the safety and welfare of the local population.
