Bandipora, Jan 28: MLA Sonawari Hilal Akbar Lone on Wednesday held a public interaction programme (Awami Darbar) at Nahdihal village in Bandipora district to review public issues following recent heavy snowfall in the area.
The public outreach programme witnessed active participation from local residents, who raised several civic and developmental concerns.
During the Darbar, the MLA patiently listened to grievances related to road connectivity, electricity disruption, water supply, and other basic amenities that were affected due to snowfall.
Officials from all concerned departments were present on the occasion to take note of the issues raised by the people.
MLA Lone directed the concerned officials to ensure immediate clearance of snow from all internal and main roads and restore electricity and drinking water supply without delay. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts among departments to provide timely relief to residents.
Locals also presented various demands related to infrastructure and public services. The MLA assured the gathering that all genuine grievances would be addressed on a priority basis in the coming days.
