LG Manoj Sinha releases J&K Shri Kashi Vidwat Parishad Diary and Panchang Calendar 2026

Jammu, Jan 17: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Friday released the J&K Shri Kashi Vidwat Parishad’s Diary and Panchang Calendar 2026 at Lok Bhavan, underscoring the importance of preserving and promoting the region’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor extended his felicitations to Padma Shri Prof. Vishwa Murti Shastri, President of J&K Shri Kashi Vidwat Parishad Jammu, along with the editorial team and members of the Parishad, for their sustained efforts in safeguarding traditional knowledge and cultural values.
Shri Manoj Sinha said that such initiatives play a vital role in connecting society with its civilisational roots and ensuring that age-old traditions are passed on to future generations in an authentic and meaningful manner. He appreciated the Parishad for its contribution towards strengthening cultural awareness and spiritual consciousness in Jammu and Kashmir.
