BJP is a party of workers, not family dynasties; Omar Abdullah’s Govt full of broken promises, says Tarun Chugh
Jammu, Oct 09 (KINS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Jammu & Kashmir in-charge, Tarun Chugh, launched a scathing attack on the National Conference (NC) and its leader Omar Abdullah, accusing them of promoting dynastic politics and failing to honour their promises to the people.
Chugh asserted that the BJP stands apart as a cadre-based organisation driven by commitment and service, not “family lineage”. “BJP isn’t a party of father-son or mother-daughter. We are a party of workers,” Chugh told reporters in Jammu as per news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS).
Taking aim at the NC leadership, Chugh said Omar Abdullah’s government has been synonymous with unfulfilled promises and neglect of public welfare. “Omar Abdullah’s government is a government of broken promises. They have forgotten the commitments they made to the people,” he remarked.
The BJP leader emphasised that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are now more aware and demand accountability, not rhetoric.
He added that the BJP’s governance model is based on transparency, development, and empowerment at the grassroots level — values that stand in stark contrast to the dynastic politics of traditional parties in the region.(KINS)
