T S C Bosh Assumes Charge as Director (Projects), REC Limited

New Delhi, Oct 3: T S C Bosh on Friday assumed charge as Director (Projects) at REC Limited, following an order issued by the Ministry of Power after the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved his appointment on October 1, 2025.
With more than 35 years of experience in the power sector, Bosh has held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of REC Power Development & Consultancy Limited.
He has played a pivotal role in strategic decision-making, business development and stakeholder coordination, contributing to the successful implementation of major national electrification programmes.
According to spokesperson, Bosh was instrumental in rolling out the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, which extended electricity to thousands of remote villages, and the Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Saubhagya), which enabled India to achieve the milestone of universal household electrification.
In his previous role as Executive Director (Engineering) at REC, Bosh provided project leadership and strategic guidance in financing power and infrastructure projects across state-owned and private sector entities.
He was actively involved in evaluating and funding projects in power generation, transmission and distribution, and renewable energy, ensuring alignment with India’s energy goals. He also oversaw large-scale transmission and distribution projects under Government of India initiatives.
Beyond project execution, Bosh has led multiple corporate functions including business development, human resources, IT, CSR, project monitoring and corporate communications. His strong analytical, managerial and leadership capabilities have significantly contributed to REC’s growth as a trusted financial partner in India’s power sector.
