CJ Arun Palli Inspects Bandipora District Court, Reviews New Complex Works
Bandipora, August 29: Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Arun Palli, on Thursday visited Bandipora to review the functioning of the District Court and to inspect the progress of the upcoming Court Complex.
On his arrival at the District Court premises, Justice Palli was accorded a warm welcome by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora, Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, and other senior officers of the judiciary and civil administration.
The Chief Justice inspected different sections of the existing District Court and held an interaction with judicial officers and staff. He stressed on the importance of maintaining efficiency, transparency, and professionalism in judicial processes to ensure timely justice to litigants. “The faith of the common man in the judiciary rests on how swiftly and fairly their grievances are addressed. It is the responsibility of every stakeholder to strengthen that trust,” he remarked.
Justice Palli later visited the under-construction District Court Complex where he took a detailed review of the pace and quality of work. He instructed the executing agencies to expedite the project so that the new complex can be made functional at the earliest. He emphasized that quality standards should not be compromised in the process, as the facility will cater to the justice needs of the district for decades to come.
During his visit, the Chief Justice also met members of the Bar Association Bandipora and assured them of all possible support in resolving their genuine concerns. He underlined that cooperation and coordination between the Bench, the Bar, and the administration are vital for the smooth functioning of the judicial system and for providing speedy justice to the people.
The visit of the Chief Justice was seen as a significant step towards improving judicial infrastructure in Bandipora and ensuring that citizens have better access to justice in a conducive environment.
