Indian Army Organises Medical, Psychological Relief Camp for Displaced Villagers in Lolab
Srinagar, May 22, 2025: In a humanitarian effort to support the displaced residents of Machil sector, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army organised a comprehensive medical and psychological relief camp at the Government Degree College, Lolab.
The initiative aimed to address both the physical ailments and emotional trauma endured by villagers affected by Pakistani artillery shelling. A total of 170 individuals—including women, children, and elderly citizens—received free medical consultations and psychological counselling during the day-long camp.
The outreach programme underscores the Indian Army’s continued commitment to fostering goodwill, resilience, and welfare among border communities. The displaced villagers expressed heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate gesture and the timely support provided by the Army.
