Poonch, May 12: Minister Javed Ahmed Rana today visited Jamia Zia Ul Uloom Poonch, expressing empathy over damages and sympathy over the unfortunate loss of Qari Muhammad Iqbal due to shelling from across the LoC.
Maulana Syed A . Habib, Naib Mohtamim briefed the Minister on the extent of damages caused by shelling in Poonch and specifically at Zia Ul Uloom.
Minister Rana praised the institute’s management who beside NGOs and administration made commendable efforts in assisting people during adversity.
The Minister emphasized the importance of humanitarian work in conflict-affected regions, acknowledging the role of civil society organizations and individuals.
He also assured that the JK Government will extend all possible assistance to victims of cross LoC shelling.
