Petronet Kashmir Super 50 Achieves Outstanding Results in JEE Mains 2025
Srinagar, April 21, 2025: The Kashmir Super 50 initiative, jointly run by the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL), and Petronet LNG Limited, has once again delivered outstanding results in the recently concluded JEE Mains 2025 examination.
An official spokesperson said among the standout performers, Tsering Chosphel secured an impressive 95.29 percentile, Fasil Bashir Wani achieved 95.17 percentile, while Mohammad Abass scored 92.31 percentile, reflecting the high academic standards and effective mentoring provided by the programme.
Since its inception, Kashmir Super 50 has maintained a commendable success rate of 63 percent, with 268 out of 425 enrolled students securing admissions in prestigious engineering colleges across India. “This includes 28 admissions to various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), 110 enrolments in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 11 admissions to Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and 119 selections in other renowned government engineering colleges”.
Spokesperson said the initiative stands as a shining example of the Indian Army’s sustained efforts to support education and empowerment in the remote and underserved areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking about his journey, student Sajid Ahmad said, “The Chinar Corps of Indian Army, CSRL and Petronet have provided me with the tools and resources I needed to succeed. I am grateful for the unwavering support from the management and faculty.”
His sentiment echoes the impact of the programme on young aspirants who, despite facing challenges of geography and access, have risen to achieve national-level success.
Director of Operations at CSRL, Shri Krishnamurti Singh, expressed immense pride in the achievements of the students. “We are incredibly proud of our students. Their hard work and dedication, combined with our comprehensive educational approach, have made this success possible,” he said.
