Nagrota, April 5: In a moment filled with pride and solemnity, Sainik School Nagrota held its annual Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26 on Saturday.
The event, conducted at the iconic Drill Square of the school, formally inducted cadets into key leadership positions. The ceremony began with the traditional pipping of the newly appointed student leaders. The act was carried out jointly by the Principal, Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, and proud parents, symbolising the shared responsibility of grooming young leaders.
Cadet Stanzin Chosgyal (4271) was appointed as the School Cadet Captain for the year. He will be supported by Cadet Saksham Verma (4312) as School Sports Captain, Cadet Raghav Chib (4354) as School Cadet Adjutant, Cadet Neatik Rajput (4346) as School Cultural Captain, Cadet Angel Choudhary (4433) as Girl Prefect, and Cadet Uday Kumar (4410) as School Band Captain.
Administering the oath, Capt (IN) Devasia congratulated the young leaders and urged them to lead with discipline, integrity, and honour—the very ethos of Sainik School Nagrota. “Leadership is not just a privilege, but a solemn duty,” he said, encouraging cadets to set an example for their peers.
He also acknowledged the crucial role of parents in shaping the aspirations and values of the cadets. “Your partnership in this journey is vital, and your support has been a pillar of strength for the school,” he added.
The event concluded with the cadets standing tall in their new roles, reflecting the confidence and values instilled in them through the school’s rigorous training and academic culture.
