JK Teachers Forum Hail Minister Sakeena Itoo for Safeguarding Students’ Exam Rights
Srinagar, Feb 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Monday hailed the Education Minister Sakeena Masood Itoo Ji for her timely intervention in ensuring that the students of Islamic Global School Srinagar are allowed to appear in their examinations without any hindrance.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, Forum President M. Ashraf Sheikh hailed the decision as exemplary, reaffirming the government’s commitment to protecting students’ academic rights. He stated that such proactive measures restore faith in the education system and safeguard the future of young learners.
Meanwhile, General Secretary Mir Bashir Ahmad described the decision as a triumph of justice, emphasizing that any tampering with students’ futures is utterly unacceptable and intolerable.
Spokesperson said the JK Teachers Forum firmly believes that students’ interests must always remain the top priority. “Therefore, the forum calls upon the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation, fix responsibility, and take appropriate action to ensure such incidents do not recur”.
“We believe students are our priority, and we urge the authorities to investigate this issue, hold those responsible accountable, and implement necessary measures to prevent such situations in the future,” the leadership asserted.
