Gurugram, Jan 3: REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power and a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), reported a robust loan disbursement of ₹54,692 crore in Q3 FY25, reflecting a 17.98% year-on-year growth.
Renewable energy loan disbursements witnessed a substantial surge, growing by 58.09% year-on-year to ₹6,314 crore during the same quarter, underscoring REC’s commitment to supporting India’s transition to clean energy.
For the first nine months of FY25 (April-December 2024), REC’s total loan disbursements stood at ₹1,45,647 crore, marking a 19.30% increase from ₹1,22,089 crore in the corresponding period of FY24. Renewable energy loans during this period amounted to ₹17,612 crore, a significant 78.68% year-on-year growth.
The figures highlight REC’s focus on bolstering India’s power infrastructure while accelerating its green energy initiatives, aligning with the nation’s sustainable development goals.
