Jammu, Jan 3, 2025: The Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate (JK&L Dte.) Friday celebrated the exceptional achievements of Cadet Arushi Rajput and Cadet Krish Singh Chauhan, who represented the region in the 67th National Shooting Competition held in Bhopal from December 15 to 31, 2024.
Selected among the top 45 cadets from 17 NCC Directorates nationwide, their performance marks a historic milestone for the region.
Cadet Krish Singh Chauhan has been honored with the prestigious title of a National Shooter, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication to the sport. His journey at the Nationals cements his status as a rising star in the shooting arena.
Cadet Arushi Rajput achieved another remarkable feat by qualifying for the India Trials for International Shooting Events, positioning her as a potential representative for India on the global stage. Her qualification underscores her extraordinary talent and unwavering determination.
In a felicitation ceremony, Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, Additional Director General (ADG) of the NCC Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate, lauded the cadets for their dedication and achievements. He emphasized the pivotal role of the NCC in providing young cadets with platforms to excel in sports and other fields, fostering their growth and helping them realize their aspirations.
