11th District Tennis Ball Cricket Championship 2026-27 Concludes at Sports Stadium Pulwama

PULWAMA, JUNE 21: The 11th District Pulwama Tennis Ball Cricket Championship 2026–27 concluded successfully at the Sports Stadium Pulwama amid great enthusiasm and sporting spirit. The championship was organized by the District Pulwama Tennis Ball Cricket Association under the aegis of the J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association and in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council. The event was held under the theme “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”, promoting a drug-free and healthy society through sports.

The championship witnessed participation from more than 500 boys and girls competing in the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories. In the Sub-Junior Boys category, Valley Public School, Litter emerged as winners, while Kids Kingdom Public School, Rahmoo finished as runners-up. In the Sub-Junior Girls category, Birla Open Minds, Pampore secured the title, while Lyceum International School, Pulwama finished as runners-up.

In the Junior Boys category, Rising Star Pulwama lifted the championship trophy, while Rising Stars Zagigam finished as runners-up. The Junior Girls title was won by Pulwama Rangers, with Star Cricket Club Pulwama securing the runners-up position.

In the Senior Boys category, Pulwama Reds emerged champions and Pulwama Rangers finished as runners-up. In the Senior Girls category, Pulwama Strikers claimed the title, while Tral Cricket Club secured the runners-up spot.

Speaking on the occasion, Faizan Qayoom, Organising Secretary, congratulated all participating teams and thanked the officials, guests, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for their cooperation. He also expressed gratitude to the J&K Sports Council and the J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association for their continued support in providing a platform for young cricketers to showcase their talent and further strengthen the sporting culture in Jammu & Kashmir.
