11 JKAP IR Battalion Holds Seminar on Sardar Patel’s Life, Contributions

Anantnag, October 3: The 11 JKAP IR Battalion, Anantnag, organised a seminar on the life and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at SRJ Higher Secondary School, Khanabal, on Saturday as part of programmes marking his 151st birth anniversary.

More than 80 students from 10 schools across Anantnag district participated in the seminar, along with teachers and members of civil society.

The seminar, titled “The Life and Contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,” featured student presentations on Patel’s life, leadership and contributions to the unity and integration of India.

The students demonstrated knowledge, confidence and oratory skills during the competition. The programme also aimed to familiarise young participants with the values of national unity, integrity, discipline and service, while promoting interaction between the police and the student community.

Addressing the gathering, the Commandant, 11 JKAP IR Battalion, Anantnag, appreciated the participating students, school staff, members of civil society and others associated with the programme.

He encouraged the students to work hard, remain disciplined and contribute positively to nation-building. He also stressed the role of youth in shaping the country’s future through knowledge, character and commitment.

At the conclusion of the programme, certificates of participation and merit, along with books, stationery items and mementos, were distributed among the students. Cash prizes were also presented to those securing the first three positions.
