Tral, May 27: A 55-year-old woman died after a poplar tree fell on her during rains accompanied by strong gusty winds in the Wagad village of Tral, located in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, on Tuesday evening.
Local sources informed Kashmir Convener that the deceased has been identified as Saleema, 55, wife of Bashir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Wagad, Tral.
She was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tral, where doctors declared her brought dead.
