Sumbal: 16 July: Two minor boys drowned in River Jehlum at Shahtulpora Sumbal in North Kashmir's District Bandipora on Tuesday evening.
Reports said that Azaan Hussain Waza (12) S/o Mohd Abbas Waza and Gazi Hussain Dar (10) S/o Shabir Ahmad Dar While taking a bath Slipped into the river .
After hours of hectic efforts by locals, police, SDRF and Army rescue teams the bodies of both the minors were retrieved.
Dead Bodies of both the deceased minors were later handed over to their families for last rites. The incident sent shock waves across the whole area .
