Bandipora, April 29: Two girls, Mehreen Mehraj, seven years old from Watapora Bandipora and Fiza Farooq, eleven years old from Ajas Bandipora on Sunday bagged silver medals in the ongoing 9th South Asia Hakuakai Karate Championship-2019 being held at Talkatora stadium, New Delhi. Both these girls have qualified for World Hakuakai Karate Championship 2019 to be held from Aug 23-25 in Tokyo, Japan.
Some of our players are yet to play their game. We hope they too get qualified for the same.
Many young students, both boys and girls, are participating in this championship.
The dedication, zeal and zest of the students is awe-inspiring. Beating the heat of Delhi, they are very passionate about their games.
Bandipora is making us proud again.
