Srinagar: Chess training and tournament was organised in Trehgam COB for young kids from nearby area.
For many kids it was a new experience altogether as they were taught a new challenging game. With COVID-19 restrictions not letting children to go out and play, introduction to chess will give them a new way to sharpen their minds and skills.
Few kids showcased exceptional talent in the tournament and can give grandmasters a run for their money in future.
The kids got a chance to interact with their brothers in uniform and also enhanced their bond.
The winners were appreciated for their skills and others vowed to improve their game. (UNT)
