Tral resident among two Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Pampore

Pampore, March 22: Two persons were injured in a road accident in the saffron town of Pampore on Sunday after a motorcycle hit a pedestrian at Kadlabal area of Saffron Town.

Officials informed Kashmir Convener that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK18D/6725, driven by Showkat Ahmad Khatana (21), son of Gulzar Ahmad Khatana, a resident of Dooninard Pampore, hit a Abdul Rashid Gojjar (40), a resident of Nagabal Tral.

In the incident, both the motorcyclist and the pedestrian sustained injuries. They were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pampore for treatment.

However, due to the severity of their injuries, both were later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced medical care.

Further details regarding the condition of the injured persons were awaited at the time of filing this report.
