Traffic Police Rural Kashmir Issues Advisory Ahead of Mega Padh Yatra in Ganderbal on June 5

Ganderbal, June 04: The Traffic Police Rural Kashmir has issued a traffic advisory in view of the Mega Rally (Padh Yatra) being conducted under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in Ganderbal town on June 5, 2026.

According to the advisory, vehicular movement on the routes from Pandach Crossing to Wayil-Manigam Crossing, Beehama Chowk to Barsoo Crossing, and T-Chowk to Gadoora will remain completely suspended from 4:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Motorists have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel within Ganderbal town during the event and follow designated diversion routes for smooth traffic movement.

Traffic from Ladakh, Sonamarg and Kangan towards Srinagar will be diverted via Wayil-Manigam–Shadipora–Shalteng–Srinagar. Vehicles from Guthlibagh and Lar/Tulmulla areas have also been directed to use alternate routes as notified by the Traffic Police.

The advisory was issued by Liaqat Ali, JKPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Rural Kashmir, in the interest of public convenience and compliance.
