Masjid Committee registers case with police
Srinagar, March 05 (: In a broad-day light, thieves decamped with transformer of Air Conditioner worth Rs 11000 installed at Masjid-e-Jamia Qadeem Hanfia at Achanambal, Zafran Colony on Srinagar outskirts.
Elders of the area said that the incident happened after Zuhr (afternoon prayers). “When we went inside the masjid to offer Asr prayers, we found that there is no AC transformer that was fitted with a wall. Its cost is Rs 11000,” said Ghulam Qadir Rather, Muazin of the masjid. He said that the members of Masjid committee approach the police station Pantha Chowk to register a complaint about the theft. “We urge police to investigate the matter and nab the thieves immediately,” he said
