Pampore, October 30: Thang Ta Club Pampore has once again brought pride to Jammu and Kashmir by delivering stellar performances at the 31st Sub-Junior and Senior National Thang Ta Championship 2025, held at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, Secete, Madgaon, Goa.
In the Senior Weight Category, Farhan Reyaz and Mehvish Ashraf clinched Gold Medals, while Saiman Majeed bagged a Bronze Medal, showcasing their remarkable skill and determination.
In the Sub-Junior Category, young talents Areeba Rashid and Mohammad Shahzaib Mir made the region proud by securing Silver and Bronze Medals, respectively.
Adding to the club’s achievements, Head Coach Shabir Ahmad Mir was conferred with the National Award for his outstanding contribution to promoting Thang Ta at the grassroots level. Mufti Taha Niyaz was also honoured with a National Award, presented by Dr. H. Prem Kumar Singh, Grand Master of Thang Ta.
The event marked a moment of immense pride for Team Jammu & Kashmir and Thang Ta Club Pampore, whose dedication, discipline, and passion for martial arts continue to inspire the younger generation of athletes across the Union Territory.
