Awantipora, December 12: In a major success against the terror network , Awantipora Police along with security forces claimed to have arrested a terrorist associate involved in supporting terror activities.
Officials said Acting on credible input about movement of one suspect at Naner Midoora, Awantipora Police , in a joint operation with 42 RR and 180 BN CRPF, launched a search operation in the area.
During the search, one terrorist associate identified as Musaib Nazir son of Nazir Ahmad Teli, resident of Ladhoo Khrew associated with JeM was apprehended and a grenade was recovered from his possession, police officials said.
Accordingly the person was booked under FIR No. 257/2025 with relevant sections of law registered at Police Station Awantipora, and further investigation has been initiated.
Police Awantipora remains committed to dismantling the terror ecosystem and ensuring peace and security in the Police District.
