Students of GGHSS Bandipora Gift Artworks to DC Indu Kanwal

Bandipora, Sept 2: Students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Bandipora on Tuesday met Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, and presented her with handmade paintings and embroidery work as tokens of gratitude.

An official spokesperson said the interaction was organised by school’s Principal Jawaid Ahmad Magray. He said during the meeting students Toyiba Farooq, Iram Shafi, and Bisma Khan met the deputy commissioner and presented their original artworks including paintings and embroidery pieces crafted with dedication and creativity.

Spokesperson said the deputy commissioner was impressed with the creativity of the students and appreciated the school staff for polishing the talent of students.

Principal Magray, while lauding the students’ talent, said such initiatives encourage both creative growth and community participation. “Our students are not only excelling academically but also making strides in the arts, setting an inspiring example for their peers,” he remarked.

Acknowledging the gesture, DC Indu Kanwal Chib expressed gratitude to the students and the faculty, commending their dedication. She underlined the need to nurture creativity alongside academics and encouraged the students to continue exploring their artistic abilities.
