BANDIPORA, MAY 03: Bandipora Police continuing its drive to reach people, today held a meeting with elected grass root level representatives at DPL Bandipora, an official spokesperson said on friday.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik and DSP (DAR) Ab. Rashid who welcome all Sarpanches and sought their cooperation in maintaining peace and stability in the area.He assured them that Bandipora Police will stand shoulder to shoulder with the local government representatives for the welfare of the society by eradicating the menace of drugs and other social evils.He urged the members of the delegation to prioritize people’s interests, as the people have reposed enormous faith on them. Sarpanches highligted various issues faced by them in smooth delivering of public services.
SSP Bandipora assured them that their grievences will be brought to the notice of concerned authorities for early redressal.
At last, Sarpanches thanked police for inviting and urged that such pro-public meetings should continue in future.
